Sabine Rakza’aka

Known Name:  Sabine Rakza’aka
Known Aliases:  Sabinerak Za’aka (Everquest 2), Sabine’rak (SWTOR)
Gender:  Female
Race:  Tiefling (though often mistaken for some other race, depending on current location)
Profession:  Planewalker, Assassin
Classes:  Assassin, Alchemist (Everquest 2), Infiltrator (Dark Age of Camelot), Monk (Horizons), Defender (Asheron’s Call 2), Assassin (Diablo 2), Sith Assassin (SWTOR), Daemoness (Sacred), Vanquisher (Torchlight)
Current Location:  Norrath, Sith Empire

While Sabine has a home base in the planar city of Sigil, she spends most of her time out and about on visits to various worlds, oftentimes meeting up with her good friend, Nabil, for a shared adventure or two.

Sabine is small in stature with smooth, dark hair, dark eyes, and leaning toward a swarthy complexion. Her hair tends to hide a couple of small bumps on the top of her head (courtesy of her mother’s fiendish side of the family) that could resemble horns under the right light, and sometimes she bears a slender, barbed tail during the times she hasn’t lost it due to various portal mishaps. Other than making some effort to track it down once it goes missing, she’s otherwise not too worried about it as it’s always come back to her at some point.

Very family-oriented, Sabine always has a tale to tell concerning her multitude of relatives, both fiendish and non-. She tends to get names confused, and probably even just makes some up when there’s a need, but that’s not really a problem since a good half of her family tends to dislike their true names being bandied about anyway. After all, it’s very inconvenient to be in the midst of a pleasant afternoon tea only to be rudely yanked away for yet another summoning. Is it any wonder a lot of the more incompetent mages end up getting eaten during such events?

YOU ARE SO AWESOME!!!!!! This is seriously making me want to start playing MMO’s again. Whats a good game to start? I’m thinking Lineage 2 or Guild Wars. Is there anything you recommend?

    Heh, thanks a bunch! 🙂

My current favorite is Everquest 2 (love the housing and crafting) sprinkled with a good dose of Guild Wars and Free Realms. I haven’t played Lineage 2, but it seems like it’s still going pretty strong. Try out a few and see which ones match up with your play style. After all, no one says you must stick with just one! I’d play them all if I had the funds for it.

That’s a good point I am considering EQ2 now but of course until SOE comes back online….. I have played GW until I was hacked, It’s the worst thing ever. I hope that it hasn’t happened to you, and if it hasn’t I hope it stays that way. Well either way whenever my monster comp is built (hopefully a month or so) I’ll be playing MMO’s and i’ll jump in to any games that you play and on the same server. I think it’d be awesome to play with someone that writes and is creative with her characters bios.

Sabine is great, but she does sometimes make Celesteral cranky. Especially that time when she said Cel’s cooking smelled like something burning!!!!

Very good, I’m always happy to see people that put thought into their characters in games, whether they get involved in any RP or not.

Do you happen to role-play your characters in the games you play?

Yep, I love roleplaying my characters, which is probably why I have so darn many of them! I have a suitable character for whatever RP mood I’m in at that time. At some point, I’ll be putting up more character bios. I got sidetracked the past few weeks by a very writing intensive graduate course and group project. Soon though I hope!

I understand the world of graduate school, and it can be quite demanding! I’m glad to be done with it all! 🙂

Anyway, I love RP too, and when I can’t find it in the game or am not in a mood to log into a game, I often keep it going via forum RP and other methods. It’s funny, though, that in a lot of games I have characters that are no where near max-level because they end up being there mainly for RP reasons! People say that’s strange, lol, and that it isn’t possible to do “too much RP.” 😛

What do you currently play? I’m mainly playing RIFT at the present, though I do occasionally delve into other things.

For MMO’s, I’ve been mostly playing EQ2 with some Guild Wars mixed in for added spice. I also attempt to fit in single player games either on computer or console when there is opportunity. Even though I’ve been playing EQ2 (with a couple of extended breaks) since game release, I still don’t yet have any max level characters there yet. In fact, I ended up locking adventure experience on all of them for months. I also spend a lot of time crafting and am a quest-o-holic. 🙂
